About This Role

This Marketing Copywriter role will be responsible for creating compelling content that supports our brand initiatives and the entire sales cycle, with an emphasis on assets that drive awareness and lead generation in the competitive space of marketing technology tools.

This individual will work closely with our Director of Content and Brand to write, execute, and measure Marketing Evolution’s content marketing efforts, while supporting the content needs of other marketing and sales functions. We’re looking for a creative writer and storyteller who has a background in B2B software and a passion for technology (an added plus if your experience is within the marketing analytics industry). Along with strong time management skills, you must be eager to implement great ideas and able to think outside of the box. This is a full-time position based in New York City. 


  • Research and produce various content types, including whitepapers, eBooks, thought leadership pieces, and landing pages, and other pieces of content in-line with our editorial calendar
  • Interview customers and develop case studies and other related content (blog posts, videos, etc.)
  • Carefully follow the marketing technology industry and competitors to help identify content gaps and opportunities
  • Support field marketing programs by crafting webinar/event synopses and writing email/landing page copy
  • Measure and analyze content performance and research new content topics and formats
  • Assist with content distribution efforts, including but not limited to influencer outreach, content partnership development, and pitching pieces to third-party platforms

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B content marketing, copywriting, and inbound marketing experience
  • Relevant software industry experience (marketing, CRM, etc.) preferred
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Combination of creative and analytical thinking
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Active blogger and social media user (e.g. Wordpress, HootSuite, Twitter, LinkedIn, SlideShare, etc.)
  • Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
