Job Summary

The Media Senior Specialist is someone who’s excited by the rapid pace of change in the digital and offline media space and has a passion for helping clients understand the impact of media. This person will interface with both internal and client/agency teams to onboard digital and offline media to the Marketing Evolution system, and setup/oversee digital and offline media measurement. He or she will gain a deep understanding of how data flowing into our software affects the recommendations that flow outward, and will be called on to innovate in how the software operates. The Media Senior Specialist is an organized project manager above all. He or she is driven, self-motivated, and a good communicator.  We are looking for a Media Senior Specialist that will be in-person in our Rancho Cordova or Los Angeles office every day.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Transform multi-channel media data into software inputs, using Excel & other data modeling environments
  • Interface with customers and agencies to onboard digital and offline media planning information into the Marketing Evolution ROI brain
  • Coordinate stakeholders to onboard person level ad exposure, website visitation, search, and sales data into identity matching platforms such as LiveRamp
  • QA and standardize media data inputs
  • Analytically problem-solve and innovate within the framework of structuring data and software to produce the most accurate media mix recommendations
  • Design and execute end to end digital and offline media measurement plan (includes setup of tag-based measurement when appropriate)
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Interface with internal client success and product teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Manage the day-to-day communication required to measure our client’s more challenging media efforts
  • Be the client facing digital and offline media measurement presence for Fortune 500 client marketers, being an advocate for answering their key media questions and helping them understand our media measurement methodology
  • Work with the media team to improve process in an environment with rapid change

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-3 years’ experience in digital and/or offline media planning/buying or ad tech
  • Experience with media tools or media data stacks such as Mediaocean, Kantar, iSpot, Vizio, DoubleClick, DSPs, DMPs, AdWords, LiveRamp, etc. highly valued
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, filters, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Project management and communication skills to coordinate a large number of moving pieces simultaneously
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and execute them with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • An ongoing desire to go beyond project-specific work, be creative, and bring new ideas to the table to improve the overall media measurement and planning process
  • Self-motivated and solution driven
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, or any other programming language is a bonus
