Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Analyst with project management expertise to drive the launch of our new ERP system.  This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating all phases of the project including: pre-implementation accounting and business process improvements; researching and evaluating potential ERP systems options; solution design, system implementation, testing, documentation, and training; system launch and post-launch knowledge transfer and support.

As an integral part of ensuring project success the ERP Implementation analyst will provide leadership in managing tactical project objectives and setting measurable milestones.  This position is expected to be a project leader providing company stakeholders with solution definition, knowledge transfer, change management and process re-engineering.


Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during all phases of the implementation project to achieve defined success.
Perform business requirements analyses, including business process mapping, streamlining and optimization of current workflows.  Lead internal teams through process design and decision making to create the best work processes for the organization.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications that can be understood by all stakeholders. Document the criteria required to evaluate potential solutions and provide recommendations.
Manage project plan milestones by facilitating timely exchanges of required information, tracking resource allocation, measuring goal achievement, evaluating project timelines, and assessing project risks.  Manage workload to stay in scope of project charter objectives.
Partner and communicate with vendor experts and internal cross functional departments to deliver system implementation on time and on budget.  Effectively work with company stakeholders and across divisions and functions to ensure project deliverables are met and long-term processes are developed, accepted, and adopted across the business.
Investigate issues and escalate implementation concerns, inefficiencies, and product enhancement opportunities (technical and non-technical); monitor improvements to ensure successful execution.
Develop and execute comprehensive solution testing methodologies including: end-user, integration, platform / system, and performance testing. 
Prepare and present regular stakeholder management updates ensuring all interested parties are aligned and decisions are made swiftly.  Update internal implementation tracking systems in a timely and accurate manner for cross-departmental visibility and reporting.
Support the transfer of knowledge to accounting and finance teams to ensure on-going success once go-live is achieved.


Demonstrated project management skills – ability to manage the entire life cycle of a project from designing, data mapping, testing, and training. 
2 to 5 years of full lifecycle ERP Implementation experience working for a SaaS software development company, start-up IT, tech solutions, subscription/bookings based, or related company.
Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Accounting. PMP Certification a plus.
Strong Accounting background with knowledge of GAAP
Knowledge of and experience with General Ledgers (ideally in the SaaS environment)
Highly technical, analytical, and methodical.  Ability to create and execute a comprehensive system testing methodology.
Experience implementing process improvements in financial systems and/or experience with an ERP implementation project.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to interact effectively and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as with cross functional teams.
Prefer computer skills and knowledge of office software packages that includes Microsoft, Google Docs, JIRA, Outlook, and Concur.  QuickBooks a plus.
