Overview

Marketing Evolution seeks a technical product manager focused on DevOps and Data Ingestion. This position reports to the SVP of Product, this person determines the vision and product roadmap, and works with key stakeholders and customers both internal and external to prioritize building and maintaining products essential to our continued success and scalable growth. We believe high performing product teams are the cornerstone of all great products. As a product leader, your primary responsibility is the overall success of your products and your team as well as setting and executing its strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product.
  • Know why we are winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create improvement.
  • Develop a roadmap for improving our infrastructure and drive improvements in scale.
  • Develop and maintain business proposals that make a compelling case for further investment in DevOps and Data Ingestion.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders (other Product Managers, Development leaders, Data Science leaders) on direction of DevOps and Data Ingestion.
  • Create user stories for current and future products.
  • Curate a functional backlog and work with scrum teams to deliver against it.
  • Develop transition plans for internal teams and clients for product tests and releases
  • Requirements
  • 5+ years of DevOps, development, data ingestion, and product management experience.
  • Strong experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles.
  • Tech savvy and passionate about building products.
  • Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.
  • Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, JIRA
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, AWS, Python
  • Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
